How to copy a TikTok video link?

Open the video in the TikTok app, tap the share arrow and choose 'Copy link'. On the desktop site, click 'Share' under the video and choose 'Copy link', or copy the address bar. Paste the link in the field above and click 'Get Info'.

What do views, likes, comments and shares mean, and where does TikTok show them?

Views count every play of the video, likes are the heart taps, comments are the replies and shares are sends and reposts. TikTok shows likes, comments and shares beside the video and views on the thumbnail in the creator's profile grid. This tool reads the same public counters from the video page and adds an engagement rate: likes, comments and shares together, divided by views.

Does it work on private videos?

No. The video has to be public. A private video, a video from a private account, or a video that has been deleted returns an error because TikTok does not publish its page.
